Packaging

The FramedFilms.com team takes extra care when packaging your vintage movie posters or limited edition movie prints.

Rolled Posters/Limited Edition Prints

We place your rolled poster or limited edition print in a sturdy 3” or larger shipping with thick walls. The poster or print is rolled in craft paper slightly tighter than the diameter of the tube and always ensure that we are shipping in a tube that has a greater diameter than the poster/print being shipped. This gives the poster/print added protection during shipping. We also add some cushioning to the ends of the rolled poster/print to further protect it from damage. Lastly, we make sure that the tube is clearly marked “DO NOT CRUSH.”

Folded Movie Posters

Folded posters are first placed in a plastic bag and then sandwiched between 2-4 pieces of sturdy cardboard and taped down. All of this is placed in a shipping envelope (padded if size permits) and clearly marked “DO NOT BEND.”

We know that there is absolutely nothing worse than getting your movie poster or limited edition movie art in the mail and finding that it has been damaged in transit. Unfortunately, this does happen occasionally. We do everything we can to ensure that the packaging will withstand normal and even some rough travel, but accidents do happen. That’s why we insure all of our shipments.
