About Framed Films

Framed Films was created out of a passion for movie related artwork, both original theater-used posters and limited edition prints. We truly believe that the movie poster is one of the most underrated pieces of art in the world today. Everyone has a favorite movie, one that reminds us of our youth or a special time, one that inspires us or transports us to another place. Every poster or print we sell hangs on a wall and brings out those feelings on a daily basis and allows them to be shared with others. 

Unfortunately, most art found in homes and offices these days was picked up at Ikea along with the couch or some “quirky” print purchased only to compliment the paint color in the room. All too often, cheap reproductions of loud generic art are purchased because it’s what’s in the “home design” gallery alongside expensive furniture. We offer posters and prints that bring out emotions and spark conversation.

We provide a wide selection of styles and genres so that the poster or print can be as unique as the person selecting it. We consider all of our pieces truly works of art and you can see from the examples below that just because it’s a movie poster doesn’t mean it belongs on a dorm room wall.
